Faithfulness to the original message in this work can help us to reread it so that "powerful word" of Gen 4.7 "resonate" in us again transfigured by the "effects of the biblical text" in history culture: "If it works, you will be accepted; But if it works, sin lurks at the door: he will want, but you have the master.
