Juntament amb El hombre práctico (1686) de Francisco Gutiérrez de los Ríos, III comte de Fernán Núñez, i la Carta filosófica médico-química (1687) de Juan de Cabriada, es pot dir que forma part del prtic de la Illustració espanyola. Anys després, el senyor Gregorio Mayans va recollir els seus papers i els va donar a conixer el 1747 com a part de les publicacions de l'Acadmia Valenciana.
