This book interprets local communication in Terres de l'Ebre. Likewise, it also follows a linear route based on its historical background to observe the evolution of the local press over more than forty years. However, on the one hand, it is intended to expose the changes that have taken place in the headers, partly due to the application of communication technologies in the digital world and, on the other, due to the economic crisis that has recently the free fall and a reduction of the traditional press. This work contributes to define, classify and show how these local media help to consolidate and spread the identity of this area. We can also consider that this is a valuable study from the point of view of local communication because it places the Ebre counties in the historiography of the press in Catalonia. The history of the local press as a memory of the written past, the present as an act of digital transformation in the midst of the crisis, and the uncertain future of data in the face of a new local model of communication. 0
