Leading-edge hybrid technology The hybrid technology enables a loss free transmission of high resolution DisplayPort signals for distances up to 100 m, since it combines the advantages of a glass fibre cable and these of a copper cable. In contrast to purely optical DisplayPort cables, all DisplayPort data as well as the 3,3V voltage can be transmitted thanks to the hybrid technology. Flexible for many areas of application The DisplayPort-hybrid cable by Good Connections® is suitable for usage in electronically sensible areas, thanks to the insensitiveness against electromagnetic references (EMI / RFI). Thanks to its lightweight, thin and flexible structure it is also suitable for installations of all sorts, e.g.: Home theatre Video walls, conference room set-ups, security systems Medical AV-applications, aeroplane video systems Starting at a length of 30 m the cable is wound on a spool for easy installment. High-quality cable structur The massive full metal plugs with gold plated contacts ensure an optimal connection. The plugs are protected against corrosion because of the galvanization. The locking device which is combined with the plugs prevent an accidental slip-out. The shielded conductor consists by 99,99% of oxygen free copper (OFC). This enables an increased signal transmission and a higher breaking strength of the cable. Easy handling thanks to Plug and Play Plug in and go! Simply connect the signal source (DisplayPort-socket) to a DisplayPort input of your displaying device - an external power source or driver is not necessary.
