The system includes three components: the BuildTak FlexPlate, the unique Magnetic Mounting Base, and a standard sheet of BuildTak. Together, they comprise a system that makes the print removal process easier than ever. Developed in the most common sizes, BuildTak has ensured that the product can be used with a multitude of printers to bring BuildTaks technology to the masses. How does it work? Simple. Peel back the adhesive liner to attach the unique Magnetic Mounting Base to your print bed, apply a BuildTak sheet to the FlexPlate, and magnetically attach the BuildTak-coated FlexPlate to your base. Perform a one-time adjustment to your z-height to compensate for the added thickness of the FlexPlate System, then begin printing.
