Rosa Barba?s scientific and academic projects culminated in the 1990s, but they began and matured in the previous decade during her professional work, university teaching, and throughout her studies and theoretical considerations. On this journey, her thesis marks the first milestone in which she not only explains how she discovered the landscape but also highlights the nature of design in the debate on landscape. In order to reclaim and to disseminate her work, this publication is both in Spanish and English. The book includes a number of additional texts edited by different authors and scholars. The contributions by Estanislau Roca, Oriol Nello, Joo Ferreira Nunes and Ricard Pié aim to define the book framework, while the four epilogues by Jordi Bellmunt Chiva, Maria Goula, Anna Zahonero and Josep Maria Vilanova Claret, emphasize its most significant aspects. 0
